"How can I make the invisible visible?" 🌿
Our students are embarking on Project Wonder Trail, a 12-week cross-curricular journey to uncover the hidden layers of Bruton. By stepping into the roles of historians and scientists, they are investigating everything from medieval trade at the Packhorse Bridge to the winter biodiversity of the River Brue.
Moving through the systematic stages of Explore, Plan, and Do, pupils are transforming their field research into an immersive Augmented Reality (AR) experience for the community. Watch as we build interactive trails that use QR codes to reveal forgotten historical stories and unseen natural systems.
Think of this trail as a digital time machine in your pocket: our students are using AR to act as a bridge, allowing the community to see the "ghosts" of vanished buildings and the hidden secrets of nature right where they stand today.
